Season of Creation“My soul is in deep anguish. How long, Lord? How long?”  Psalm 6:3

Are we called to lament how we treat God’s creation; how we negatively affect the lives of God’s people because of how we misuse water. When we lament, we feel or express deep sadness, grief or sorrow. We express regret for how we have treated God’s people and God’s water. Through lament, we can also complain in faith how we have not done what we should do to protect creation and ask forgiveness, correction, and direction. A biblical lament is a prayer of faith that brings hurt, confusion, or injustice straight to the Lord while choosing to trust God; where we ask God to strengthen us to do what needs to be done as individuals, families, communities, or as the Church.

We are one with the waters of creation.
We are one with each other through the waters of creation.
We are Living Waters.

Let us pray in song . . .  You might want to place a bowl of water in front of you so you can feel/touch the water.
