Triennial Meeting July 2027

Phoenix, Arizona
July 3 – 8, 2027

The General Convention is the governing body of The Episcopal Church. Every three years it meets as a bicameral legislature that includes the House of Deputies and the House of Bishops, composed of deputies and bishops from each diocese. The ECW Triennial takes place concurrently with General Convention. The next Triennial will be held July 3–8, 2027, in Phoenix, Arizona. Each Diocesan ECW may send four delegates and two alternates to the ECW Triennial. Registration information will be provided at a later date. We also invite others to consider coming as visitors—you will be warmly welcomed.

At Triennial, we conduct the business of the National ECW, offer inspiring workshops, and share in worship with those attending General Convention. It’s an extraordinary opportunity for fellowship, growth, and connection.

Triennial 2027 Gifts: Supporting Healing, Health, and Hope in Native Communities

The National Episcopal Church Women (ECW) are pleased to announce the recipients of the Triennial 2027 gifts that will support life-changing ministries dedicated to health, healing, housing, and hope within Native communities. The Triennial 2027 Unified Gift recipient has been chosen as Native Health, and the Community Connection Gift recipient has been selected as Native American Connections.

These two organizations embody compassionate service, culturally grounded care, and a deep commitment to addressing the disparities experienced by Native American and underserved populations.

Founded with a mission to improve the well-being of urban American Indians, Alaska Natives, and others facing barriers to care, Native Health provides comprehensive, holistic, and culturally sensitive healthcare services throughout the Phoenix area. Their commitment to patient-centered care ensures that individuals and families receive support that honors both physical and spiritual well-being.

At Native Health, same-day medical appointments are available at all locations, helping remove obstacles that often prevent individuals from receiving timely care. Their wide range of services includes primary medical care, dental services, behavioral health programs, WIC services at multiple sites, and community health and wellness programs. Through these ministries of healing, Native Health continues to strengthen families and improve the quality of life for countless individuals in their communities.

Equally impactful is the work of Native American Connections. Since 1972, Native American Connections has been transforming lives and building healthy communities through culturally grounded healthcare, housing, and community development services. What began as a small grassroots organization supporting Native American men recovering from substance use disorder has grown into a far-reaching organization operating 24 sites throughout Phoenix.

Today, Native American Connections touches the lives of more than 10,000 individuals and families each year through affordable housing programs, integrated healthcare services, behavioral health support, and community development initiatives. Their work recognizes that healing extends beyond medical care alone and includes safe housing, recovery support, cultural connection, and community stability.

Their mission beautifully reflects this holistic approach:

“Our mission, grounded in traditional Native American culture, is to reduce health disparities by delivering high-quality, comprehensive integrated healthcare and providing stable housing throughout the communities we serve.”

Their vision continues this commitment:

“Our vision is to be a trusted and compassionate leader in the community, one that is committed to the elimination of health and housing disparities among underserved populations.”

The National Episcopal Church Women are honored to support these organizations through the Triennial 2027 gifts. Both ministries reflect values deeply rooted in compassion, dignity, justice, and service to others. By supporting Native Health and Native American Connections, Episcopal Church Women across the Church will participate in ministries that provide healing, hope, stability, and opportunity for thousands of individuals and families.

As ECW prepares for Triennial 2027, we celebrate these partnerships and look forward to joining together in support of organizations whose work truly changes lives and strengthens communities.
