Resolutions for Triennial 2024
The NECW Bylaws state the management of the organization’s furtherance of its objects as stated in the Bylaws, financially and otherwise, is vested in The National Board. Delegates to the Triennial Meeting have the opportunity to provide direction to the Board by means of resolutions. They may be as simple as a single sentence motion. However, generally resolutions are offered with a set of one or more “Resolved Clauses” which begin with the word “Whereas,”. These clauses spell out the rationale for the resolution. The resolution ends with one or more “enacting clauses” which begin with the words, “Therefore be it resolved,”. For further information on the proper formatting of resolutions please refer to Rules 10:13 – 10:25 in Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised (12th edition).
Resolutions require a signed submission form. Please print, complete the proposed resolution, sign, and then return to the Resolutions Chairperson:
