Fran grew up at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Huffman, Alabama, where she was active in EYC and served as a nursery worker and helper in Children’s church. She raised her two children at Church of the Holy Cross in Trussville, where she has served as ECW President, clerk of the vestry, and Junior Warden. Reflecting back over the years, she has consistently been involved in women’s and children’s ministries, especially teaching children’s church, volunteering annually for VBS, assisting with EYC, and once teaching an all-boys Sunday school class.

Her professional career includes serving as the Recreation Director & Social Worker at St. Martin’s in the Pines (an Episcopal Retirement Community) from 1991 to 1998, followed by 22 years as a lighting specialist.

Serving God’s people through her work with ECW continues to be a joy.
