Register Your Local ECW Group
The National Board asks you to register your local ECW group. Doing so will help us develop grants and educational programs that fill the needs of local churches and Episcopal Church Women programs. Another benefit is that we will understand which churches provide specific services and this will allow us to reach out to them for guidance as other ECW groups look for help in expanding their critical community ministries.
Our initial focus is on establishing a working list of all the churches that maintain food pantries. A pantry can take many forms and we have found that most churches do some form of a food giving program. What is not known outside of your local area is what type of pantry is at the church and what type of food stuffs are provided.
Registering your local ECW group is done in two parts. First, you complete the questions on this page—doing so registers your church in our database. Next, you will receive an email that will ask several question about your food program. All the questions are simple check boxes, no long answers needed.
If you don’t have a pantry you are still welcome to register your group without completing the pantry questions. Over the next few months we will expand our database program and include ministry areas such as: libraries, thrift stores, women in crisis…,
Questions about registering should be directed to editor@ecwnational.org
