House of Hope Community Connection Gift Triennial 2024

House of HopeThis Triennial’s Community Connection Gift is sponsoring House of Hope Kentucky.

House of Hope Kentucky, Inc. restores and transforms the lives of single, homeless women in substance abuse recovery by providing them with transitional  housing, compassionate care, and a support system of life skills to help them become independent, productive and self-sufficient.

Women typically stay about two years, and during that time pay a nominal rent, attend support meetings, get a job, complete house chores and, if successful, transition to a drug-free life.

House of Hope KY DisplayHouse of Hope offers refuge, guidance and transformation to single, homeless women over the age of 18 who have completed a treatment program for substance abuse. Over the course of two years, residents live in the home, develop individual goals and are personally mentored in order to help them to achieve those goals.
Upon graduation from the program permanent housing assistance is provided to ease residents back into mainstream living. Providing transitional housing to women helps them to develop a sense of community with others who are in recovery. The intimate setting is like a home, not an institution, where women can relearn to lead a healthy lifestyle.
